Box dividers, also called box "partitions" or box "separators", are used to "unitize" products in shipment and provide interior protection. They are used in most every corrugated box shipped in the world. Using intersecting sheets of cardboard material, dividers create separate compartments within a larger box. What's the purpose? Box partitions are perfectly suited to help a product maintain its position in transit or to cradle fragile objects. They can be cut to suit any corrugated box or folding carton with as many individual cells or compartments as you wish. Adding box dividers increases the chance that multiple products within one box or carton will reach its destination safely.
Corrugated box partitions (or box dividers) provide excellent stacking strength and help ensure that your products arrive safely at their intended destination. Without them, products could potentially bang against each other, resulting in lost or damaged shipments. Innerpac offers a variety of standard size box dividers as well as custom design capabilities for your shipping needs. We also offer a number of different coatings and specialty board options. Innerpac uses the highest quality first-run board to manufacture partitions.
